(MIAMI, FL) - The Florida Marlins won a ninth-inning home run derby to edge the Chicago Cubs 3-2. Derrek Lee put the Cubs ahead with an RBI single in the third.

The 1-0 lead held up until the seventh when Cody Ross hit a solo homer off Aaron Heilman to tie the game at 1-1.

Jake Fox made it 2-1 cubs with a solo blast off Brendan Donnelly in the top of the ninth. The Cubs brought in closer Kevin Gregg to pitch the ninth.

Gregg retired Hanley Ramirez on a pop out, but Dan Uggla followed with a game-tying solo homer and then Ross hit his second home run of the game to win it.

Chicago missed an opportunity to regain the lead in the NL Central.

They remain a half-game behind the Cardinals.
