Last updated on Monday, August 10, 2009

(LEXINGTON, OH) - Scott Dixon picked up his record 20th-career win in the IndyCar Series, taking Sunday’s Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car course.

Dixon led 51 of the 85 laps and easily outdistanced Ryan Briscoe, who edged Dixon's Ganassi Racing teammate Dario Franchitti for second place.

Ryan Hunter-Reay finished fourth with Hidaka Mutoh rounding out the top five. With the win, Dixon moves in front of Briscoe for the points lead, taking a three-point edge into the August 23rd race at Infineon raceway in Sonoma, California.

Dixon's victory moved him past Sam Hornish junior for most career wins in the IndyCar Series.
