(CARMEL, IN) - The US Senior Open Golf Championship begins today at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel. There are 156 golfers in the field highlighted by Tom Watson, Greg Norman, Hale Irwin and Bernhard Langer.
Watson arrived at Crooked Stick on Tuesday but has been bothered by a stomach ailment he says is the result of something he ate while competing at the Senior British open last weekend.
Loren Roberts went on to win the Senior British Open and is competing at Crooked Stick this weekend.
Eduardo Romero of Argentina will defend the US Senior Open title he won last year at the Broadmoor Country Club in Colorado.
