(CARMEL, IN) - The US Senior Open Golf Championship begins Thursday at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel.
Practice rounds for the 156 golfers in the field began on Monday.
The field includes the winners from the last twelve US Senior Opens, including defending champion Eduardo Romero of Argentina.
Tom Watson, who finished second in the British open two weeks ago after losing to Stewart Cink in a playoff, will compete as will previous major winners Greg Norman, Tom Lehman and Bernhard Langer.
The tournament runs through Sunday.
