(NORFOLK, VA) - Jeff Fiorentino’s RBI single with one out in the bottom of the ninth gave the Norfolk Tides a 6-5 win over the Indianapolis Indians.
The Tribe built a 5-2 lead after 6 1/2, but the tides came back, scoring twice in the seventh and once in the eighth and ninth to snap a three-game losing streak.
Catcher Robinzon Diaz hit a solo home run for Indianapolis.
Game three of the four-game series is scheduled for this afternoon in Norfolk.
