High School Basketball Player Killed In Single-Car Crash

(JOHNSON CITY, TN) - A former Washington High School Basketball Player was killed in a single-car crash on Wednesday night.

Nineteen-year-old Seth Coy died in Shelby County, Kentucky.

He was returning to his Montgomery, Indiana home from east Tennessee State University, where he was a member of the basketball team.

The six-eleven coy was the starting center on the Hatchets' 2008 class three-a state championship basketball team, playing alongside Mister Basketball Tyler Zeller.

He would have been a sophomore at East Tennessee State this coming semester.
