(INDIANAPOLIS) - Heritage Christian has a new boys’ basketball Coach, and he wont even have to move to take his new job.
Basil Smotherman, who has been an assistant at Indianapolis North Central for 20 years, was named to replace Cary Chandler.
Chandler's contract had expired and was not renewed by athletic director Andrew Riddick.
While at North Central, Smotherman coached 3 Indiana Mr. Basketballs, Jason Gardner, AJ Ratliff and Eric Gordon.
