Cubs Defeat Braves 4-2

(CHICAGO, IL) - Derrek Lee homered and Randy Wells won his fourth consecutive decision as the Chicago Cubs defeated the Atlanta Braves 4-2.

Lee hit a two-run shot off Braves starter Jair Jurrjens in the bottom of the first as the former all-star continued his hot streak.

Lee has driven in 14 runs in six games this month.

Kosuke Fukudome and Ryan Theriot had RBI hits in the second inning as the cubs built a 4-0 lead.

Wells would allow an RBI single to Yunel Escobar in the fourth and a solo homer to Nate Mclouth in the fifth.

He went six innings, allowing two runs on seven hits to improve to 4 and 3.

Jurrjens took the loss, dropping to 6 and 7.
