(WASHINGTON, DC) - Derek Lee belted his 18th home run of the season and Rich Harden surrendered just 3 hits over 6 innings, as the Cubs beat the host “Nats” 6-2 Thursday night in Washington.
Harden, who fanned the nationals Slugger Adam Dunn 3 times, improved to 6-6 on the year, 4-1 on the road.
Chicago moved to within a game of Milwaukee and 3 of St. Louis in the National League Central.
