Last updated on Friday, July 24, 2009

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - It was a busy day at the Indianapolis Tennis Championships Thursday after most of Wednesday’s schedule was wiped out by rain.

Top seed Dmitry Tursunov, third seed Sam Querrey and seven seed Marc Gicquel advanced with straight-sets wins.

Number-two seed Dudi Sela, number-four seed Igor Kunitsyn and fifth-seeded Benjamin Becker were eliminated in upsets.

The quarterfinals are scheduled for today with Tursunov taking on Frank Dancevic, Querrey facing Gicquel, Robby Ginepri playing Alex Bogomolov junior and John Isner going against Wayne Odesnik.
