(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Justin Morneau hit a three-run homer in the top of the first as the Minnesota Twins cruised to a 6-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Brendan Harris drove in a pair of runs and Jason Kubel added an RBI single in support of Francisco Liriano.
Liriano allowed two runs on four hits over seven innings to pick up the win, improving to 4 and 8.
The cardinals scored both of their runs in the fifth inning on an RBI double from Rick Ankiel and a run-scoring single by Jason Larue.
Minnesota took two of three in the series.
