Mets Shut-Out Cardinals 11-0

(NEW YORK, NY) - Fernando Tatis drove in three runs and Nick Evans hit a two-run homer as the New York Mets shut out the St. Louis Cardinals 11-0.

Fernando Nieve and three relievers combined on the four-hit shutout.

Nieve allowed three hits over six innings to improve to 3 and 0.

Ryan Church and Brian Schneider added two RBI each as the Mets have taken two of three from the redbirds in the four-game series.

Brad Thompson took the loss for St. Louis to fall to 2 and 3.
