(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Goodyear begins two days of tire testing today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The test is expected to be the final one before the 16th running of the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard in late July.
Goodyear was at the speedway two weeks ago and this week's test marks the seventh time NASCAR's sole tire supplier has been at the Brickyard since last year's race was marred by tire failures and abnormal wear that forced Sprint Cup officials to have "competition yellow" periods every ten laps so that teams could change tires.
