Chicago Cubs Edge Minnesota Twins To Halt Losing Streak

(CHICAGO, IL) - Ryan Theriot singled home Derrek Lee with the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth as the Chicago Cubs edged the Minnesota Twins 3-2 to halt a four-game losing streak.

Minnesota got on the scoreboard first when Nick Punto's bunt single in the second drove home Carlos Gomez.

Chicago tied it in the bottom of the second when Lee scored on a sacrifice fly by Theriot. Geovany Soto made it 2-1 Cubs in the fourth with an RBI double before Gomez tied it when he hit a solo homer off Chicago starter Ted Lilly.
