(CHICAGO, IL) - Randy Wolf allowed a run over seven innings as the Los Angeles Dodgers got past the Chicago Cubs 2-1.

Rafael Furcal put LA on the board with an RBI flare over the infield in the first inning.

Casey Blake's RBI groundout in the third made it 2-0 Dodgers.

Wolf pitched into the eighth, leaving the game when Chicago pinch-hitter Bobby Scales led off the inning with a solo home run to draw the Cubs to within a run.

Ramon Trancoso entered the game in relief and worked out of jams in the eighth and ninth innings to preserve the win and pick up his third save of the year.

The Dodgers have won four in a row while the Cubs had a two-game winning streak snapped.
