(HOUSTON) - Alfonso Soriano homered twice as the Chicago Cubs swept their two-game series in Houston with an 8-5 victory over the Astros.

Soriano hit a solo shot in the fourth and a two-run blast in the ninth to give him nine home runs for the season.

Mike Fontenot drove in a pair of runs for the Cubs, who have won six of their last seven games.

Ted Lilly allowed two runs on four hits over six innings to improve to 4-and-2.

The two runs Lilly allowed came on Miguel Tejada's first home run of the season, a two-run shot in the first inning.
