(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana Hoosiers will face top-seeded Louisville in the opening round of the NCAA Baseball Tournament Friday in Louisville.
The Hoosiers are in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1996 after defeating Minnesota in the Big Ten Tournament on Saturday.
IU has the number-four seed in the Louisville regional and enter the tournament with a 32-25 record.
The winners of the 16 regionals move on to the best-of-three super regionals late next week with the eight super regional winners advancing to the College World Series in Omaha.
