(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Fever have signed three-time WNBA all-star Tamecka Dixon to a free agent contract.
Dixon has played in the WNBA since its inception in 1997, spending the last three seasons with the Houston Comets.
She was on the Los Angeles Sparks team that won back-to-back league championships in 2001 and 2002 and she ranks eighth in WNBA history in career assists.
The Fever will have two exhibition games at the end of the month before opening the regular season on June 6th.
