Last updated on Tuesday, May 5, 2009

(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Reserve guard Michelle Clark has left the Purdue women’s basketball team and plans to transfer.

Clark played in 22 games in two seasons with the Boilermakers, seeing limited playing time. Head coach Sharon Versyp says Clark has not decided on another school. She has two years of college eligibility remaining.

Purdue recruit Sam Ostarello was named Miss Basketball in the state of South Dakota. Ostarello averaged 22 points and 14 rebounds as a senior for Stanley County High School in Fort Pierre.

The six-foot-two forward is Stanley County's all-time leader in points and rebounds.
