Cardinals Avoid Sweep With Victory In Pittsburgh

(PITTSBURGH) - Colby Rasmus hit a two-run home run and Albert Pujols added a two-run single as the St. Louis Cardinals avoided a sweep in Pittsburgh by defeating the Pirates 5-1.

Shane Robinson added a sacrifice fly for the Redbirds, who snapped a five-game losing streak at PNC Park to maintain a share of the lead in the NL Central.

Robinzon Diaz drove in the lone run for the Pirates with an RBI single.
