(CINCINNATI, OH) - Bronson Arroyo threw a five hitter and Jay Bruce had a big night at the plate as the Cincinnati Reds completed a three-game sweep of Houston, defeating the Astros 6-1.
Arroyo allowed one earned run, walking one and striking out three to improve to 7-3.
Bruce homered twice and had an RBI triple, driving in four runs.
Jerry Hairston Jr. added a solo shot and an RBI single as the Reds won their fourth in a row while sending the Astros to their seventh-straight defeat.
