(INDIANAPOLIS) - Former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy has been invited by President Barack Obama to serve on a White House advisory council.

The president invited Dungy to join the Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Dungy reportedly is still considering the offer.

Dungy retired from coaching in January following seven seasons with the Colts.

He has also been approached by new NFL Players Association president Demaurice Smith to serve as a liaison between the players and the NFL office.
