(UNDATED) - The minor league baseball season gets underway today in Indiana. In the International League, the Indianapolis Indians open up at home tonight against the Toledo Mud Hens.
In the Midwest League, the South Bend Silver Hawks are on the road at West Michigan. The Silver Hawks don't open the home portion of their schedule until Monday.
The Fort Wayne franchise of the Midwest League has a new name and a new home.
The former Fort Wayne Wizards are now the Fort Wayne Tincaps and they open on the road tonight at Lansing.
They will open new Parkview Field in downtown Fort Wayne on April 16th.
