Last updated on Thursday, April 9, 2009

(WINSTON-SALEM, NC) - Wake Forest guard Jeff Teague has declared his intention to enter June’s NBA draft.

The 6-2 standout from Pike High School in Indianapolis averaged just under 19 points and dished out 110 assists for the demon deacons this past season.

He surpassed the 1,000 point mark in his two seasons at wake forest. Teague says he will not hire an agent, leaving open the option of returning to school.

He will attend pre-draft workouts and will have until June 15th to withdraw from the June 25th draft and return to Wake Forest for his junior season.
