Indian's Visit Arlington To Start Regular Season Against Rangers

Last updated on Monday, April 6, 2009

(ARLINGTON, TX) - The Cleveland Indians get the regular season underway this afternoon on the road as they face the Texas Rangers in Arlington.

The Indians will send reigning Cy Young Award winner Cliff Lee to the mound today. The veteran left-hander went 22-3 last year after struggling through a 2007 season that saw Lee being sent down to the minors at one point.

The Rangers will counter with Kevin Millwood. Millwood is starting his fourth-straight opener for Texas.

Last season was a struggle for Millwood, who went 9-10 in between four separate stints on the disabled list.
