(INDIANAPOLIS) - Long-time basketball commentator Dick Vitale will serve as Grand Marshall for next month’s 500 Festival Parade.
Vitale will ride in the May 23rd parade and participate in ceremonial activities before the Indianapolis 500 on May 24th.
Vitale, who just completed his 30th season as a college basketball analyst with ESPN, is a former head coach of the Detroit Pistons of the NBA as well as former coach at the University of Detroit.
