Clippers' Randolph Picked Up For Drunk Driving

Last updated on Tuesday, April 7, 2009

(LOS ANGELES, CA) - Los Angeles Clippers forward Zach Randolph was arrested Monday morning on the suspicion of drunken driving in Los Angeles.

The former Marion High School star was pulled over when two California Highway Patrol officers saw Randolph's white Rolls Royce weaving on Interstate 405.

A CHP spokesman says the officers smelled alcohol inside the car and gave Randolph a field sobriety test, at which point Randolph was arrested.

He was later released on $5,000 bail. On Sunday night, Randolph had scored 18 points in the Clippers loss to the Lakers.

He led Marion to the IHSAA Class Four-A basketball championship in 2000.
