Bird Talks About Future Of Pacers

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana Pacers President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird spent part of his Tuesday morning talking to the media about his future plans for the team.

Bird addressed subjects from the June draft, free agency and the status of players on the current roster.

Bird also discussed his future, saying he is not looking for a long-term contract and that he has no problem working for Pacers owner Herb Simon with only a handshake deal. Bird also said he has not talked to head coach Jim O'Brien about his contract status.

O'Brien enters the final year of his deal this coming season.
