(EVANSVILLE) - The American Boat Racing Association is touting this summer’s Thunder on the Ohio event in Evansville as “NASCAR H2O.”
The ABRA is ending its longtime partnership with the Freedom Festival, making Thunder on the Ohio the main attraction on August 21-23.
In addition to the hydroplane boat races, ABRA Vice Chairman Ken Muscatel says they'll hold a BBQ competition, a cruise in with the Evansville Road Knights, a three day beer stube and live music.
Tickets go on sale July 6th.
