(NORMAL, IL) - The Indiana University women's basketball team saw its season come to an end as they lost at Illinois State 66-55 in the quarterfinals of the WNIT.
Nicolle Lewis led the Redbirds with 13 points and 13 rebounds as Illinois State overcame a three-point deficit at halftime.
The Redbirds used a stifling defense to shut down Indiana in the second half, holding the Hoosiers to 26% shooting over the final 20 minutes.
Jamie Braun led IU with 15 points with Jori Davis and Kim Roberson adding 14 points apiece as the Hoosiers end their season at 21-11.
