(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Northwestern used a 22-3 run in the second half to pull off a 64-61 upset of #20 Purdue at Mackey Arena.

The Boilers had a 10-point lead with just under 15 minutes remaining when they went cold, hitting just one field goal over the next eleven and a half minutes.

Kevin Coble led Northwestern with 16 points and eight rebounds with Michael Thompson and Craig Moore adding twelve points each as the Wildcats have won three straight to improve to 17-11, 8-9 in the Big Ten.

Keaton Grant and E'Twaun Moore scored 14 points apiece to lead the Boilers, who had a seven-game home winning streak halted.

Purdue drops to 22-8, 11-6 in conference play as they fall into a second-place tie with Illinois in the Big Ten standings.

The Boilermakers finish the regular season on Sunday at regular-season champion Michigan State.
