(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers return from the all-star break tonight as they host the Philadelphia 76ers at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Pacers have lost five of their last seven games to fall to 21-and-33 on the season. All five of the losses have come to sub-.500 teams. They have won their last two games in Indianapolis, knocking off two of the top three teams in the eastern conference in Orlando and Cleveland.
The Pacers are four and-a-half games out of a playoff spot in the eastern conference with 28 games remaining.
The blue and gold should be rested after taking four days off before returning to practice yesterday. Danny Granger was the only pacer who had to work over the all-star break, participating in the three-point contest before playing in his first all-star game on Sunday night.
Granger has been bothered by soreness in his knee and was limited to a little more than ten minutes at the all-star game in Phoenix. His only shot of the game was a dunk and he finished with two points.
The Sixers are 27-and-24 and have won their last four games. Philadelphia stands sixth in the east, a half-game behind fifth-place Miami. The Sixers have taken two of three from the Pacers this season.
