(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Troy Murphy scored a season high 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 98-91 win over the Chicago Bulls.
TJ Ford added 19 points, scoring nine of those when the Pacers took control in the fourth quarter.
Marquis Daniels and Jarrett Jack finished with 16 points apiece as the Pacers overcame the absence of leading scorer Danny Granger. Granger is out at least another week after suffering a partial ligament tear in his right foot during Wednesday night's loss at Charlotte.
Indiana has won its first two games with its all-star out of the lineup with Sunday's win and their Friday night victory at Minnesota.
Ben Gordon scored a game-high 28 points as Chicago overcame a 14-point deficit midway through the third quarter. The Bulls went on a 25-8 run with the Pacers missing all 13 of their shots from the field during that period as Chicago took an 80-77 lead with 7:43 remaining.
Murphy ended the drought when he tied the game with a three-pointer with 6:43 left. The Pacers would take the lead for good when Ford hit a three with 3:56 left to give Indiana an 87-84 advantage.
With the win, the Pacers improve to 24-and-34. They hit the road to face the New York Knicks tonight at Madison Square Garden.
