IU Gives Northwestern First Assembly Hall Win...Ever

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Northwestern Wildcats picked up their first win in Bloomington since 1968 as they knocked off the Indiana Hoosiers 75-53 at Assembly Hall.

Craig Moore led five Wildcats in double figures with 17 points with Michael Thompson adding 16 as northwestern got its first victory ever at Assembly Hall, which opened in 1971.

Kyle Taber led the Hoosiers with a career-high twelve points with Nick Williams adding eleven. Northwestern improves to 15-11, 6-9 in the Big Ten. Indiana has lost six in a row to fall to 6-21, 1-14 in the conference.

The Hoosiers travel to Penn State on Saturday.
