(INDIANAPOLIS) - The start of the 2009 IndyCar Series season is just over a month away and officials continue to scramble for sponsors to field teams.
Top names such as Rahal/Letterman Racing are still working to find the funding to field teams for the season.
Indy Racing League (IRL) Commercial Division President Terry Angstadt says the series faces financial challenges because of the faltering economy and slumping auto industry.
