Hoosiers Continue Hunt For First Road Win Of Season

Last updated on Tuesday, February 10, 2009

(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - The Indiana Hoosiers are on the road tonight to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers in Minneapolis.

The Hoosiers will be without leading scorer Devan Dumes. Dumes was suspended indefinitely by Head Coach Tom Crean after being ejected late in the Hoosiers' 75-47 loss Saturday afternoon at Michigan State. Dumes was tossed after elbowing Spartans center Tom Herzog. It was at least the third elbow Dumes threw during the game, two of which were caught by game officials.

The Hoosiers are 6-and-16 overall, 1-and-9 in Big Ten play and 0-and-7 on the road this season.

The Gophers are 18-and-5, 6-and-5 in conference play and have lost their last two games.

Minnesota beat the Hoosiers 67-63 in Bloomington on January 25th.
