(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana avoided setting the mark for the longest losing streak in their storied basketball history.

Devan Dumes hit 8 of 9 field goals en route to 27 points as Indiana beat Iowa 68-60 at Assembly Hall.

The win snapped an 11 game skid for the Hoosiers (6-15, 1-8) and was Iowa's 8th straight road loss.

Nick Williams added 14 for Indiana, who hadn't won a game in 56 days. The Hawkeyes (12-11, 2-8) were led by Matt Gatens' 22 points.
