Boilermakers Outshoot Michigan State, 72-54

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) Number-21 Purdue outshot fifth-ranked Michigan State 48-percent to 33-percent from the field in cruising to a 72-54 win at Mackey Arena.

JaJuan Johnson led the Boilermakers with 17 points with E'Twaun Moore adding 13 points and Robbie Hummel finishing with eleven.

Kalin Lucas scored 14 points to pace the Spartans with Durrell Summers finishing with eleven points and Goran Suton adding ten as Michigan State sees its three-game winning streak stopped.

The Spartans fall to 20-and-5, 10-and-3 in the Big Ten. The Boilers improve to 20-and-6, 9-and-4 in conference play. They host Indiana on Saturday.
