Boilermakers Top Golden Gophers At Williams Arena

(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - JaJuan Johnson scored 19 points, grabbed eight rebounds and blocked five shots to lead the 18th-ranked Purdue Boilermakers to a 70-67 win over number-20 Minnesota in Minneapolis.

E'Twaun Moore added 16 points and Lewis Jackson finished with twelve as the Boilers won their fourth-straight conference game after losing their first two Big Ten games.

Al Nolen led the Golden Gophers with 17 points as Minnesota suffered just its second loss at Williams Arena this season to fall to 16-and-3, 4-and-3 in the Big Ten.

Purdue improves to 15-and-4 overall, 4-and-2 in the conference. They are off until Tuesday when they face the Wisconsin Badgers in Madison.
