Pacers Fall To Last Second Jumper

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - David West’s basket with two and-a-half seconds remaining gave the New Orleans Hornets a 105-103 win over the Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.

The Pacers lead by twelve points in the third quarter but could not hold on, suffering their third loss in a row.

Chris Paul keyed New Orleans down the stretch, scoring eleven points over the final 3:36. Paul led the Hornets with 19 points and twelve assists with James Posey also scoring 19 points and West finishing with 18.

Danny Granger led Indiana with a game-high 34 points. Roy Hibbert added a career-high 19 points and Troy Murphy finished with a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds.

During the Pacers' current three-game losing streak the blue-and-gold have lost by a total of six points, falling to 10-and-20.

The Pacers host the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday evening.
