Pacers Begin Four Game Road Trip

Last updated on Tuesday, December 9, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers practiced on Monday before hitting the road for the start of a four-game road trip which begins Wednesday night in Toronto.

The Pacers are coming off a stretch of five-straight games against division leaders in which each opponent faced the Pacers while riding winning streaks. Indiana went 1-and-4 with their lone victory coming against the 17-and-2 Los Angeles Lakers. Their latest setback came on Sunday night when they fell to the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics in overtime.

Following Wednesday's game with the Raptors, the Pacers will travel to Detroit to face the Pistons on Friday night. Then it is on to Milwaukee to play the Bucks on Saturday night before the trip wraps up Monday night in Washington with a game against the Wizards.

Pacers Coach Jim O'Brien continues to say there is no timetable for the return of Mike Dunleavy. Dunleavy has missed the entire season with a knee injury and there were reports last week that Dunleavy would take some tests at the end of this week and could possibly return to practice next week.
