Pacers Lose Late Lead, Fall To Mavericks

(DALLAS, TX) - The Indiana Pacers once again failed to hold onto a late lead and lost to the Dallas Mavericks 109-106.

The blue-and-gold led by as many as 13 points and entered the final period with a six-point advantage before being outscored 32 to 23 over the final twelve minutes.

Jason Terry tied the game at 99 with just over two minutes remaining and Jason Kidd gave Dallas the lead for good with a three-pointer with 1:22 left. Terry led the Mavs with 29 points with Dirk Nowitzki finishing with a double-double, scoring 24 points and grabbing twelve rebounds as Dallas extends its winning streak to five games.

Danny Granger led Indiana with 22 points with Troy Murphy finishing with 21 points and 14 rebounds and Brandon Rush adding a career-high 18 points as the Pacers lost their third in a row to fall to 5-and-8.

The three-game road trip wraps up tonight as the Pacers face the Rockets in Houston.
