(LAHAINA, HI) - The Indiana Hoosiers salvaged a victory on their Hawaii trip, defeating the host Silverswords of Chaminade 81-79 at the Maui Invitational.
Tom Pritchard led the Hoosiers with 19 points and nine rebounds. Devan Dumas finished with 14 points and Verdell Jones added 13 as IU improves to 3-and-2.
Joel Smith led Chaminade with a game-high 20 points with Shane Hansen adding 14 as the Silverswords fall to 0-and-3.
The Hoosiers return home to face Cornell on Sunday.
