(PORTLAND, OR) - Oregon State Athletic Director Bob De Carolis could be a candidate to take over as athletic director at Indiana University, according to a published report.
The Oregonian reported that De Carolis was a candidate to replace Rick Greenspan over the weekend.
De Carolis issued a statement saying that it would be inappropriate for him to respond to the rumors and that he did not want to directly or indirectly compromise IU's selection process.
De Carolis is under contract at Oregon State through 2011.
Indiana is looking for a replacement for Greenspan, who resigned in July but is staying through the end of December.
