(EVANSTON,Ill.) - The Northwestern Wildcats topped Purdue 48-26.
Curtis Painter completed 26 of his 41 pass attempts for 273 yards and one touchdown, but threw three interceptions.
Kory Sheets also carried the ball 17 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns in a losing effort.
The loss was the fourth in a row for the Boilermakers who drop to 2-5, while the Wildcats improve to 6-1.
