(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The NBA season gets underway tonight.

The Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons will have to wait one more day before opening their 2008-2009 campaigns as they begin their seasons tomorrow night at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Pacers enter Wednesday night's game minus starter Mike Dunleavy. Dunleavy missed seven of Indiana's eight preseason games with tendonitis in his right knee. He might be available for the Pacers' home-opener Saturday night when they host the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics.
