More Offense Needed From Hoosiers, Says Lynch

Last updated on Thursday, October 9, 2008

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Indiana Hoosiers will try to snap a three-game losing streak Saturday when they return home to face the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Hoosiers are reeling after dropping games to Ball State, Michigan State and Minnesota to fall to 2-and-3. Head Coach Bill Lynch says he is pleased with the improvement he is seeing on defense, but is looking for more from the IU offense.

Safeties Nick Polk and Austin Thomas appear to be healthy after returning from injuries to play in last weekend's loss at Minnesota. Safety Jerimy Finch did practice on Monday, but Head Coach Bill Lynch is unsure of his status for this week's game with the Hawkeyes.
