Last updated on Tuesday, October 14, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Peyton Manning revealed that he had a second surgery last summer to address the infection in his left knee.

Manning revealed the second procedure to CBS television's Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, who used the information during Sunday's telecast of the Colts - Ravens game.

Manning had an infected bursa sac removed from the knee on July 14th. He returned to practice six weeks after the initial surgery, but is just now returning to his Pro-Bowl form.
