Colts Play The Roster Shuffle Game

Last updated on Friday, October 17, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts will hit the practice field again this afternoon as they get ready for Sunday’s game with the Packers in Green Bay.

The Colts have a roster spot open after a deadline deal for Buffalo defensive tackle John McCargo was voided when McCargo failed to pass his physical. Early speculation had the Colts possibly re-signing defensive tackle Lajuan Ramsey, who was waived Tuesday to make room for McCargo.

Head Coach Tony Dungy says the roster spot could be taken by linebacker Tyjuan Hagler. Hagler, who was projected to start on the outside before injuring a pectoral muscle during offseason workouts, could be activated in time for Sunday's game at Lambeau Field.

Colts Injury Report

Outside of changing the players who were given the day off to rest, the Colts' Thursday injury report is virtually unchanged from Wednesday's. Linebacker Freddy Keiaho was back after missing Wednesday's practice with a groin injury.

Running back Joseph Addai, wide receiver Roy Hall, defensive backs Kelvin Hayden and Bob Sanders and tight end Gijon Robinson remain sidelined by injuries. Defensive ends

Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis were back after taking Wednesday off for rest while linebacker Gary Brackett and defensive back Tim Jennings did not practice Thursday for non-injury reasons.
