(HOUSTON, TX) - The Indianapolis Colts scored three touchdowns in a period of two minutes and ten seconds late in the fourth quarter to pull out a 31-27 win over the Houston Texans Sunday in Houston.

The Colts jumped out to a 10-0 lead at the end of one before the Texans scored 17 unanswered points in the second quarter to lead 17-10 at the half. Houston added a Kris Brown field goal in the third and seemed to take control when Steve Slaton scored on a one-yard run to give the Texans a 27-10 lead with 8:18 remaining.

The Colts responded with an 80-yard drive culminating on a seven-yard pass to rookie Tom Santi with 4:04 left. The Colts scored again when Gary Brackett returned a fumble by Texans quarterback Sage Rosenfels and returned it 68 yards for a score to make it 27-24 Houston.

The winning score was set up when Robert Mathis stripped Rosenfels and recovered the fumble at the Colts' 20-yard line. The horseshoes took the lead when Manning hit Reggie Wayne on a five-yard touchdown with 1:54 remaining.

Houston's final chance at pulling out the win was snuffed out when Melvin Bullitt intercepted a Rosenfels pass in the final minute.

The Colts improve to 2-and-2 with both wins coming on the road. The Texans fall to 0-and-4.

Indianapolis looks for its first win at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday when they host the Baltimore Ravens. The Colts have lost both preseason games and both of their regular season games at their new home.
